The client is a government agency that needs to manage a database of all hydropower plants and dams in the area as well as maps that simulate flood scenarios that may occur downstream when hydroelectric plants flood power.

SOLUTION

TNT consults and builds a Web application to help digitize the entire database of hydropower plants and dams in the area.

The system allows to collect hydrological data at dams and hydroelectric reservoirs daily, reporting directly to the management agency.

In particular, the system has digitized downstream flood maps simulating flood possibilities that may occur when hydropower discharges flood with different situations and scenarios. The system also calculates and warns about the impact of each flood scenario.
